Albee Benitez Oath Taking
3rd District, Negros Occidental Congressman-elect Alfredo "Albee" Bantug Benitez took his oath last June 25,, 2010 before Judge Felipe G. Banzon in the presence of his wife Dominique "Nikki" Lopez and his invited guests at Victorias Sports and Amusement Center, Victorias City.
A Thanksgiving Mass started the ceremony. The new congressman gave a very short, simple and sincere message but straight from the heart, he quoted " I want to thank all of you and those who had helped me during the May 10 election. I appreciate your support extended to me. If you need my help, I am also very much ready to give back what you have sown. 'Kon kinanglan nyo ang akon bulig, ari lang ko,ang bulig mahalin sa akon.
Honored guests were recognized before the oath-taking ceremony. Governor-elect Alfredo G. Maranon, and other winning candidates graced the eventful occasion.
A sumptuos lunch was served to all the guests after the rites.
